The Kelus-LV Bay Mobility Enhancer is a telescopic ladder kerbals can climb on during EVAs. It is the longest ladder of all stock parts. It is a massless part.

Usage

When put on a vessel, the Enhancer starts in a closed position and extends when activated by the user via right-clicking on it. The extended ladder allows kerbals to grab onto it and move vertically on it. There is a small electric light which drains electric charge. Kerbals can't collide with the part whether stowed or extended. The only interaction via kerbal is grabbing and moving vertically.

In the VAB and SPH, the Enhancer is always shown in its retracted state unless manually extended. Before 0.23.5, it was always shown in it's extended state in the VAB and SPH.

Product description

The Kelus-LV Mobility Enhancer Bay comes equipped with advanced telescopic extension technology. Recommended load 1.5 kerbals. After discovering that their name was already in use, Kelus picked their current name with the flip of a coin.
