SRBs can be used with asparagus staging

Sorry, editor who noticed a mistake. I have made successful asparagus rockets that made heavy use of SRBs. Either you use non-rockomax parts and put an SRB under EVERYTHING, and/or you put SRBs on the outside of the outermost tank ring.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Zandercat (talkcontribs) 15:39, 8 April 2014‎ (UTC)

Hi, I moved it to the talk page, because this is where the discussions go. Now asparagus staging does not profit from solid rocket boosters. The big advantage of asparagus staging compared to other non crossfeeding staging systems (like using SRBs) is that after each staging event the rocket itself is fully fuelled. If the center stage wouldn't be fully fuelled it carries a partially empty tank longer with it: That's also why the boosters are dropped sooner with asparagus staging, because instead of emptiness in the center stage (or intermediate stages) the outer most stage contains that “emptiness”.
When you have a rocket with asparagus stating and add SRBs, they won't make your rocket more efficient. — xZise [talk] 13:05, 8 April 2014 (CDT)
