The Kerbalizer is a utility available on the official Kerbal Space Program website and the App Store. It allows the user to design and outfit a Kerbal. These Kerbals cannot be used in or transferred to the game, so they are for graphical and entertainment purposes only. It is, however, possible to save an image of the Kerbal, but only in the web version, because the iOS version is buggy.

Pricing and Details
The free version allows users to create a custom Kerbal, dress it, change its hairstyles, change facial details, and give the Kerbal accessories. Later, the users can share their creation, or download it.

The paid and App Store versions (both $2.00 USD) include all of the features of the free version, but users can also change colors of clothing and hair, animate Kerbals to put them into any position, use different backgrounds, and add more different things.

The web player uses Unity Web Player, which won't work with modern browsers.

Kirrim Kerman is a semi-official character seen in an official Squad promo trailer titled "Selection Process". Kirrim appears briefly, having a mishap with an automatically extending flag which breaks the lights in the testing room, causing the camera to switch to nightvision. He is also a star of several YouTube videos, going by the name of "Special Agent Kirrim".

Background
Kirrim Kerman is likely a nod by Squad to “Special Agent Kirrim” – a character invented by KSP fan and YouTuber Danny2462. Danny introduced his character in his video "Messing Around in Kerbal Space Program 3" on 29 July 2012, a year before Squad's "Selection Process" video (24 July 2013). Given Kirrim's name and personality values (Courage and Stupidity), it's very likely he began as a randomly generated Kerbonaut who Danny happened to turn into a character.

Danny featured S.A. Kirrim in several videos in which he was a spy much like James Bond with exotic vehicles and dangerous missions. Other fan videos reinforced this parallel. Squad's depicting an applicant named Kirrim Kerman with the designation #0007 in the Selection Process likely plays on secret agent James Bond's code number "007", which again squares with Danny's Special Agent Kirrim.
At one of Danny's Kirrim Videos, Danny put out a link which is a. zip file including Kirrim's .SFS Configuration File.

YouTube History
First Appearance
Kirrim first starred in the opening sequence of Danny2462's video "Messing Around In Kerbal Space Program 3". In the clips, Kirrim was seen performing stunts on a jet named "Wasp". He first successfully tries to stand on the top of the cockpit during flight. However, Kirrim pops in the next two stunts. These brief appearances made him popular with fans, which caused Danny to develop him into a character.

Early Missions
S.A. Kirrim was featured in "Special Agent Kirrim" only months after his first appearance. In the video, Kirrim has the tasks of testing out advanced and explosive technology for his agent needs. Using the old car parts, Kirrim tried to test an agent-worthy car. However, its multiple safety issues made it fatal to practice stunts or keep in control. The propulsion systems were abandoned and replaced with missiles. However, Kirrim turned out to lack proper aim, despite his high courage stat.

After the car failures, Kirrim was sent to test a newly made submarine. Early tests sent the sub dozens of meters below sea level, but low fuel made it impossible to reach the seafloor. More powerful engines were implemented, despite attacks from the Wormhole Kraken. The constant setbacks, however, didn't make success impossible, as Kirrim was able to pilot the sub to Kerbin's seafloor. But that test nearly cost the agent his life. Kirrim was rescued offscreen and sent to his next test: The Drop Pod test.

Death and Revival
The Drop Pod tested proved to be successful in only a few tries. Next, Kirrim was sent to a chasm on the Mun, where a "Mun Cannon" was waiting to be tested.

The AE-FF3 Airstream Protective Shell (3.75m) is a fairing introduced in version 1.0. The size and shape of the fairing can be edited by the player to fit a specific payload. This can be helpful for protecting payloads with delicate parts that can be easily ripped off during ascent and prevent overheating in the case of very fast craft. It also reduces drag for blunt payloads and held to save on valuable fuel. Upon deploying the AE-FF3 either through the staging diagram or by using the right click menu of the fairings base, the shell will separate into small segments and break off from its base revealing the payload. It is recommended that you deploy the AE-FF3 as soon as a craft exits the atmosphere rendering aerodynamic parts pointless and making the shell dead weight.
However, the fairing may come in handy during atmospheric entry (especially on Eve) for payloads that have parts that protrude outside the stack and/or are less heat resistant (e.g. a Rovers wheels), protecting these parts from burning up, while a heat shield protects the main stack.

Notes
Parachutes and photovoltaic arrays can not be deployed while within fairing displaying the message "Parachute or Solar array can not be deployed while stowed."

If the payload is loosely secured and parts within the shell are allowed to bend to the point where they should collide with the fairing it will simply phase through due to the fact that the game only registers one collision mesh for an the entire vessel and obviously a collision mesh cannot collide with itself.
{{Quote
|While the Kerbals at Mission Control were still figuring out how to get their rockets back down to Kerbin safely, the research engineers at FLOOYD were quickly realising that protecting parts on ascent was just as important. Heavy research into two-dimensional-input driven procedural construction was then funded with the hopes of making protective shells for important payloads and interstage areas of the crafts. The protective shells also have the benefit of making the craft more aerodynamic, hopefully saving on precious rocket fuel! The AE-FF3 is the largest size available from FLOOYD.
The Mk1 Cockpit is a cockpit-style command module that is designed to be placed on the nose an airplane or spaceplane that uses parts of a small radial size.

Usage
The Mk1 Cockpit is generally found at the front of the spacecraft and can house one Kerbal crew member. It's especially useful for IVA flights because its large glass canopy offers a wide field of view; however, it cannot mount an inline parachute because it lacks a frontal node and is less useful for rockets because it's heavier than the Command Pod Mk1.

In 1.0.5 a "docking mode" was added. When the screen is clicked, the IVA view moves to a location behind the seat, looking up through windows designed to look at a docking port directly above the craft.
