The Mk2 to 1.25m Adapter Long is a Mk2 to 1.25m adapter and fuel tank containing liquid fuel and oxidizer mixture.
It is the long variant of the Mk2 to 1.25m Adapter. It has the same length, mass, and fuel capacity as the Mk2 Rocket Fuel Fuselage.

Usage
The Mk2 to 1.25m Adapter Long is used to provide a seamless connection between Mk2 and 1.25m parts, allowing parts such as engines, fuel tanks, reaction wheels, or command modules to be attached to a Mk2 craft (such as a spaceplane). It also serves as an attachment point for wings, fins, and landing gear; however, its angled sides may cause alignment issues.
Because the Mk2 to 1.25m Adapter Long is a Mk2 part, it can act as a wing by providing a lifting surface. However, it provides less lift than a true Mk2 fuselage, such as the Mk2 Rocket Fuel Fuselage.
The Mk2 to 1.25m Adapter Long is also a rocket fuel tank containing liquid fuel and oxidizer. It can be used to power liquid fuel rocket engines, like the LV-909 "Terrier" Liquid Fuel Engine. It can be placed both in-line and radially mounted.
When full, one tank can power a single LV-909 "Terrier" Liquid Fuel Engine for up to 225.6 seconds at full thrust, or a single closed-cycle CR-7 R.A.P.I.E.R. Engine for up to 66.5 seconds at full thrust.
