KSC was feeling very proud of itself for their myriad of accomplishments. However government officials had again increased their complaints of KSC costing too much. The government of Kerbin wants KSC to cut its budget by over half. While KSCs head was trying to explain that they KSC couldn't possibly run on such a small budget, and warning they were flirting with another civil war, a plucky intern suggested that KSP focus on reusable Spacecraft similar to Intrepid, which could spend years self contained traveling across the solar system. This intern was promptly fired and his Idea was stolen, and that is how the Hermes Program was born.

- Hermes II should contain
- All parts as Hermes I, accept only 1 Probodobodyne HECS 2
- Space for 3 Kerbals
- Heat shield to renter atmosphere after test.
- (recommended it have an efficient nuclear engine for planetary transit, and Liq/Oxy engines for landing)
- you have two options, you may test it by flying between planets to Eelo, or between planets to Moho. (chose based on which launch windows are better set up)
- If you travel to Moho, land next to Hermes I
- Return to Kerbin and renter capsule.
Hermes III
- Hermes III is the final Hermes ship
- Hermes III must contain
- 1 Probodobodyne HECS 2
- Drills
- Processing plant (to refuel during flight)
- Batteries (must be able to run Plant and drill through any planets night)
