The TR-XL Stack Separator is a Separator that allows for staging rockets vertically and in sequence. It's the biggest separator available; the Jumbo(2.5m) version of TR-18D Stack Separator
Use
The TR-XL adds a stage to the rocket and when activated will release the separator as well as anything attached to it, much like the TR-2C. Unlike normal decouplers, separators come free from both sides.
Separators weigh slightly more than the similarly sized decouplers. It also has the downside of a high price, costing more than four times the decoupler. It does have an advantage in ejection force.
