The Aerodynamic Nose Cone is a cap that fits to the front of an aircraft or rocket.
Usage
With KSP's current drag model, nosecones only add to a craft's mass and drag, essentially making them useless. This nosecone has a higher drag coefficient than most parts, potentially making rockets less stable. It still looks good, though.
Release notes of 0.22 say "Nose Cones now actually help with improving stability during atmospheric flight." Impact not yet fully explained or understood by the community.
