The TD-37 Decoupler is a decoupler that allows for staging rockets vertically and in sequence. This part replaced the older TR-38-D, but works essentially the same and has a shorter visual profile.

Usage

The TD-376 adds a stage to the rocket and when activated will release the decoupler as well as anything attached to it, much like the TD-50 Decoupler. It remains attached to one side of the rocket - the side facing away from the arrow on the decoupler. It is used mainly for jettisoning spent stages or drop tanks with a 3.75m node.

Node Size

  • 3.75m - decouple side (releases from upper attached part)
  • 3.75m - non-decouple side (remains with lower attached part)

Product description

Originally designed for separating buildings that were stuck together, O.M.B. has repurposed these explosive bolts for use in separating stacks of massive rockets.
