Do we have any data on at what point extended solar panels break off in atmo?
All over our wiki, every planet that has an atmosphere, Duna#Atmosphere, Eve#Atmosphere, Kerbin#Atmosphere, Jool#Atmosphere, Laythe#Atmosphere, we have an amazing chart on altitude with pressure (atm), and pressure (Pa).
Now that these types of panels no longer retract after the 1.0 update, do we have any data on what pressures (atm or Pa) extended panels are known to break off at, with relation to altitude, speed, or both?
Body | Periapsis (km) | Velocity (m/s) | # of 1x6 panels | # of 3x2 panels | 1x6 panels broken | 3x2 panels broken | Apoapsis after aerobrake (hyperbolic / km / re-entry) |
