Usage
When Inflated, the airlock has 2 uses, one is to act as a docking port, being able to mate with a Clamp-O-Tron Docking Port Jr. or another Inflatable Airlock; Its main use, however, is its ability to store a single kerbal ad allow it to EVA from the airlock, which is especially useful when no other hatch is aviable. However, it provides no IVA nor command pod capabilities, even if the kerbal inside it is a pilot.
Trivia
Real-world comparison
The Inflatable Airlock was inspired by the Voskhod 2 inflatable airlock. Due to its light weight and high heat tolerance, it is often used for low-mass missions.
