The Z-4K Rechargeable Battery Bank is a battery that stores 4000 units of electrical charge for a spacecraft. It has a mass of 0.2, and thus is quite heavy.
Product description
It can be used as a structural element (unlike the radial batteries), and the round shape and attachment nodes make it fit better into some rocket designs.
It has the same mass ratio to electric charge as the Z-100 and Z400 batteries, so using it can reduce part count and drag.
“ | New advances in surge control technology made The Z-4K, the largest battery pack ever put into production a reality. While Zaltonic admits intense electrical discharges can be really cool, shorting the Z-4K's contacts should probably be avoided. | ” |
