The TD-50 Decoupler is a decoupler that allows for staging rockets vertically and in sequence.
Usage
The TD-50 Decoupler is a component that is most commonly placed between Stages, allowing the Craft to jettison (detach) parts that are no longer needed during flight (ie: a stage with no more fuel). On the outer curved surface there should be a few triangles, notice how they point up, that's the side they detach from.
Note: The TD-50 Decoupler remains attached to one node (the base of the triangle), and detaches from the other (the tip of the triangle).
Node Size
- 5m - decouple side (releases from upper attached part)
- 5m - non-decouple side (remains with lower attached part)
