Dinklestein Kerman does not appear in-game, but is one of the few non-random Kerbals named in any game text. His eponymous “Dinkelstein Kerman's Construction Emporium” is the manufacturer of some of the structural parts. They could, in fact, be mistaken for surplus building materials which just happen to be light enough for improvised centrifugal space stations and boats. Examples can be found in stock KSP vehicles of these parts being more useful than repurposing wings as structural elements.

Dinklestein is said to handcraft some of these parts, such as the M-Beam 200 I-Beam. This claim has yet to be proven.

Aside from possibly being a one-Kerbal-factory, Dinklestein could possibly be connected to industrial espionage (also unproven) against Rockomax Conglomerate. Rockomax Conglomerate manufactures the Rockomax HubMax Multi-Point Connector which is similar but much rounder than The Not-Rockomax Micronode manufactured by Dinkelstein. The manufacturer actually claims in the product description that the Micronode is not a product of industrial espionage.
