The Radial Engine Body is a combination of an air intake and a small liquid fuel tank. It has the same properties as the Engine Nacelle regarding the dry mass, amount of fuel it can carry and the air intake properties. The only difference are the looks and the higher price.

Prior to 0.24 it was purely cosmetic but could be easily mistaken for an air intake. This part was originally developed for the C7 Spaceplane pack, and has become a stock part since 0.15.0 and the introduction of the Spaceplane Hangar.

Product description

This engine body features radiator flaps and cowls to help cool air breathing, high performance engines.
