Engineer is a specialization assigned to Kerbonauts. Engineers can repair broken parts and repack parachutes. They also affect the efficiency of the 'Drill-O-Matic' Mining Excavator. Bill Kerman is the engineer of the original four.

Additional abilities are unlocked as Experience is gained.
