The LV-1R Liquid Fuel Engine is the radial version of the LV-1 Liquid Fuel Engine. It still suffers from low TWR and Isp, but is again by far the lightest engine in the game, tied with the LV-1. The radial configuration allows for a greater variety of mounting points. Unlike the LV-1, this has a proper fuel gauge.

The LV-1R Liquid Fuel Engine is the radial version of the LV-1 Liquid Fuel Engine. Just like its stack-mounted counterpart, it has a very small thrust (the lowest in-game for a Liquid fueled engine, paired with the LV-1, only the Ion Engine has a lower thrust.), a bad specific impulse and a low TWR.

The radial configuration allows for a greater variety of mounting points. Unlike the LV-1, this has a proper fuel gauge.

Description

Adapted to appease engineers who were outraged at the puniness of the LV-1, the radial mounted LV-1R offers an appealing solution: "Just add more". Point away from face.
