A landing leg is a deployable strut for stopping a craft on the surface of a celestial body with minimal damage. Landing very heavy craft or landing too fast can partially damage or completely destroy these parts. Partially damaged legs can be repaired by three-star engineers on EVA.

Landing legs have these tweakables:

  • Start Retracted/Deployed
  • Lock/Unlock Suspension (during missions too)
