The Mk2 Cockpit is the next-generation 1 meter cockpit with room for a NCS adapter to attach, making it similiar to the mk1 but more preferable for larger crafts. An Mk2 Cockpit, or any other type of cockpit or command pod, is necessary in order to build a spaceplane or spacecraft.

Usage

the Mk2's 1 meter design allows to fit other 1 meter parts while still allowing construction on the frontal part of the cockpit. RCS or SAS modules are commonly placed here.
