Description

The Mk2 Lander-can is a Command Module housing two Kerbal crew members during their mission.

This cozy capsule seats two, and is very lightweight. However, don't expect it to survive atmospheric entry or even a sneeze.

Usage

Generally placed at the top of the rocket, the Mk2 Lander-can provides full command module functionality. The Mk2 Lander-can Pod features a large size node on top and bottom.

Due to its superior visibility to the other pods, the Lander-can is generally used when doing IVA landings.

Keep in mind that the Lander-can has only an impact tolerance of 8 m/s, making it the most fragile of all command pods. That means direct contact with the ground should be avoided (put a landing gear or at least a more stable component below it).
