A Monolith is an easter egg that can be found in several places throughout the Kerbol System. They are most likely a reference to the Monoliths from Arthur C. Clarke's Space Odyssey series of novels and film. They currently have no known function and have no collision mesh meaning any Kerbal or vessel can pass through a monolith or munolith harm free. Monoliths on the Mun are also called Munoliths.
