The PresMat Barometer measures the current atmospheric pressure.
Currently[outdated], it has "PhysicsSignificance = 1", making it a zero drag and massless part.
Usage
Displays atmospheric pressure to five significant figures, while active. A pressure below 0.0001 atm is shown as vacuum by the sensor. Lower atmospheric pressures markedly reduce lift and drag induced by the atmosphere, and cause a small change in engine efficiency.
While it is activated, the barometer drains 0.0075 Electric Charge per second (0.45 E/m, 27 E/hr).
The PresMat cannot be used to earn science while in a vacuum or a very thin atmosphere.
