The Probodobodyne HECS is an unmanned command module that runs on electricity.

Usage

Generally placed at the top of the rocket, the Probodobodyne HECS provides full command module functionality with a tiny connector on the top and bottom. This is the only hexagonal command module available allowing three and six times symmetry instead of four and eight times.

Description

The HECS is one of the few parts in Kerbal Space Program that is covered in multi-layer insulation.

The HECS core is a re-casing of the popular OKTO core into a form more suitable for Kerbals who think 3-fold symmetry is ware more futuristic.
