The ROUND-8 Toroidal Fuel Tank provides fuel to attached liquid fuel engines. Like the name said it's the only toroidal fuel tank currently[outdated] available.

Usage

It is currently the second smallest liquid fuel tank in the game, after the Oscar-B Fuel Tank. It carries 150% of the fuel capacity of the Oscar-B Fuel Tank, despite having a smaller apparent size.

It is very useful for probes and small vehicles and can stack very compactly, but cannot have parts attached radially to it and it is wider than other parts of the tiny diameter.

In more artistic craft, it is often seen in the roles of wheels, life preservers, and warp coils, although its functionality in such roles is doubtful.

Product description

The ROUND-8 is one of the few parts in Kerbal Space Program that is covered in orange multi-layer insulation. It is designed to fit in with the 0.65 meter form factor, or the 1.25m one, depending on the inner or outer radius.

An unconventionally shaped (but undoubtedly handy) fuel tank.
