The version template could, if the version number is at least 0.23.5 as you can directly link to it. The main advantage is, that the version history article is longest page and it gets quite crowed there. If you have suggestions or arguments against that system, note them here. This system also allows to link to future versions (e.g. the Launch Escape System used the infobox which in turn uses the version template) and links to unknown versions are shown as redlinks. For example 0.19.0 does work while 0.19 does not but both are shown as valid links. — xZise [talk] 16:13, 1 April 2014 (CDT)

New system?

Hi, I'm thinking if we should have a page for each version update. The basics:

 • When a new version number is known an article is created which redirects to planned features.
 • After the version is released it is basically the same as each entry on version history.

After all versions are in their separate pages (the BobBot could do that) version history would link to Category:Versions. The version template could, if the version number is at least 0.23.5 as you can directly link to it. The main advantage is, that the version history article is longest page and it gets quite crowed there. If you have suggestions or arguments against that system, note them here. If it doesn't work out the content can be integrated into the version history. — xZise [talk] 16:06, 1 April 2014 (CDT) This system also allows to link to future versions (e.g. the Launch Escape System used the infobox which in turn uses the version template) and links to unknown versions are shown as redlinks. For example version 0.19.0 does work while version 0.19 does not but both are shown as valid links. — xZise [talk] 16:13, 1 April 2014 (CDT)

I'm all for the new system; Version history is getting really large and scary. What does everyone else think? Also, I've started moving more versions to their own pages to fit in with this new style. -dstruct2k(t·c) 09:46, 17 April 2014 (CDT)

mk1 command pod bug

I was surprised to find that on reloading one of my ships the mk1 command pod appeared to have doubled in radius, anyone else seeing this?— Preceding unsigned comment added by Plugwash (talkcontribs) 18:19, 13 April 2014‎ (UTC)

The bug seems to have gone away after "revalidating the game cache" in steam. I presume local corruption of some sort was the cause. I do have mechjeb installed, I also previously had kas installed but I haven't got arround to upgrading that yet so it's disabled.
