TWR 1 won't hover?

"TWR of exactly one will not make the rocket hover in place"

Will not? I think you mean, it _will_.

But I haven't tested this. So maybe somebody can confirm it for me?— Preceding unsigned comment added by TerryDactyl (talkcontribs) 18:04, 27 February 2015‎ (UTC)

Yes that is the idea behind the TWR. If the thrust and weight are exactly the same their ratio is 1 and with both being exactly the same the net force is 0 (for the TWR only the thrust part pointing towards the surface is counted). — xZise [talk] 05:43, 28 February 2015 (CST)

Perspective and tone of "What about SRBs?" Section

Should the first person voice with its anecdotes be amended to be less anecdotal and more objective and authoritative? -- ~~Nathan 10/15/15 0001h UTC

This article is not linked from other articles and has not been updated since 2016. The Terminology page explains most concepts from this, so this page seems completely obsolete

Agreed. There are several other pages where math is broken out in detail, and a large number of tutorials and large quantity of terminology content that replaces this page with improved language. --TythosEternal (talk) 23:43, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
