推重比 (TWR) 是飞机发动机推力与发动机重力之比。航天器进入天体轨道或着陆(不使用降落伞或滑翔的方式),其引擎推力就必须大于其重量来抵消重力的作用,推重比 (TWR) 大于1。 重量大小取决于航天器质量和所处位置的重力加速度大小。通常情况下,重力加速度是天体的表面重力加速度。在稳定轨道上,推重比并不重要,但也可以用于推断航天器的可能的最大加速度。
