: I don't have any mods installed, and in my part selection screen (as well as part.cfg) it shows the RT-10 Solid Fuel Booster as having a full mass of 3.5 and a dry mass of 0.5. I know, it surprised me too, because with a nerf like that it becomes essentially useless again. I'm calculating Isp the same way as for any other part: Thrust/(propellant weight/second). Thanks for the tip on the increased thrust for the large booster, I'll fix the numbers for that one. [[User:D0SBoots|D0SBoots]] ([[User talk:D0SBoots|talk]]) 22:30, 22 September 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for taking care of the fuel consumption for liquid engines in the Parts article. --  Trinexx  ►  13:54, 18 September 2012 (UTC)

Glad to help! I tend to be looking for facts and values, and if I can't find them, I'll calculate them and add them. :) --D0SBoots (talk) 05:00, 20 September 2012 (UTC)

Solid fuel parts

You just edited the description of the small solid fuel booster to indicate that its full/empty mass is 3.5/0.5. Isn't it still 1.8/0.36 in version 0.17? Also, how are you calculating specific impulse for the solid-fuel boosters? (BTW, the large booster has gotten a thrust upgrade.) -- Elembis (talk) 22:04, 22 September 2012 (UTC)
