:::: I can this only say for myself but I don't like this much white space. But there is hardly any text, so maybe later there is not so much white space and it looks nicer. Btw you can try clear after each paragraph instead. It simply adds a div clearing the right side. I'm not sure which one looks better (regarding how much white space is visible). — xZise <small>&#91;talk&#93;</small> 19:35, 6 September 2013 (CDT)

:::: Ah cool thanks, clear|right gives me a visually identical result in my browser. Do you really consider the whitespace a problem? Yea it's not überpretty, but I really would like just 1 or 2 short sentences and have the pictures speak for themselves. I find these terms so difficult to understand when described verbally and so easy to grasp when visualized. I would hope this would be helpful to noobs and people with low average english skills. --Kerbin Dallas Multipass (talk) 19:57, 6 September 2013 (CDT)

Your new orbit article

Hi, I noticed you wanted to update/edit the orbit article. Now you saved a version of it here on the talk page which is very impractical, as nobody can contact you on your talk page. So I took the liberty and moved it to User:Kerbin Dallas Multipass/Orbit. Feel free to create pages in your userspace (User:Kerbin Dallas Multipass/...) to test the wiki syntax or buffer articles. And then a note to your article: It looks like the differences are minimal and complete so I'm wondering why you duplicated the article. I would recommend preparing a page in your userspace only when you planning on replacing the complete article (like User:Greys), because whenever somebody makes a change to Orbit you have to reflect those changes in your test. The difference being that the orbit article isn't drastically outdated or written bad. — xZise [talk] 04:07, 6 September 2013 (CDT)

Hi, sorry for saving the article in the wrong place. I was working on the new section "Terminology" on the orbit article, so theres little danger that anyone would change that section. Since I was having layout problems with the pictures I just copied almost the entrie article. Anyway, my idea was this: Add the most beginner- and wiki-relevant terms (inclination, eccentricity, apoapsis+periapsis), each with an ingame screenshot for illustration. For this to work I need the illustrations show up next to the text and not all over the place like in my current version. You think this is a good idea or should I better just add the screenshots to the Terminology section? --Kerbin Dallas Multipass (talk) 14:33, 6 September 2013 (CDT)
Ah okay. Now one problem with preventing images to show all over place, is that you don't know how large somebody else's display is. So maybe for you it looks “good” but somebody else have the images not correctly assigned. Now of course a larger paragraph could prevent this from happening to to many people. Another way would be to show them alternating (the odd (first, thrid, …) images on the right and the even on the left). Or do it like on maneuver node the symbol gallery and effect on orbit, although I think this is not necessary for the orbit article. You can describe what the image is showing in the description and stick to alternating (if really necessary). — xZise [talk] 14:42, 6 September 2013 (CDT)

I can this only say for myself but I don't like this much white space. But there is hardly any text, so maybe later there is not so much white space and it looks nicer. Btw you can try right after each paragraph instead. It simply adds a div clearing the right side. I'm not sure which one looks better (regarding how much white space is visible). — xZise [talk] 19:35, 6 September 2013 (CDT)
Ah cool thanks, clear|right gives me a visually identical result in my browser.
