Hi xZise,

Your modifications on [[:Template:Infobox|Infobox template]] are good, but there's a problem when a subtitle is present (eg [[0.90]]).

Translator between simplified<-->traditional Chinese

Hi, well I wonder if we could do a translator between traditional and simplified Chinese, like Wikipedia itself? Cause adding all the content in traditional Chinese when a simplified Chinese page would take very long (cause I plug it into Google translate (I won't have the time to translate word by word from simplified to traditional) and it messes with the wikitext so it results in the wikitext not able to parse as normal)-Deepspacecreeper (talk) 23:51, 18 November 2014 (CST)

Hmmm I actually don't know how it works on the Wikipedia and I have unfortunately not really access to the actual servers. But I could try to forward it to people who can. Do you have an idea how Wikipedia does it? — xZise [talk] 13:18, 21 November 2014 (CST)

planed features changes

both the massive parts and the astaroids are confermed by harvisteR in that streem, he says that astaroids will be in the main game, but other things that include the nasa pack will be separate, i will post a better link to the stream in a second. i actually took the geysers from a post on gas planet 2. also look at today's dev note it confirms everything — Preceding unsigned comment added by Krona (talkcontribs) 03:15, 19 February 2014‎ (UTC)

Interwiki table - KSP-fr wiki

Hi xZise,
Can you add a new row in the interwiki table ?

Thank you in advance,

Response

Still learning wikitext. I hope this is an appropriate way to respond to your comments.

I just discovered another way to do it that involves anchors and tables, and, once implemented, should clean up the table of contents by a huge amount. Thanks for the push-back against the huge list, as I was just going to leave it as is, but your comments have motivated me to learn a little more about wikitext in order to clean it up (which I really wanted to do from the get-go, I just didn't know how). Look forward to seeing changes slowly and steadily whittle that TOC down!

Page combinations

As you can see, I am in the process of cleaning it up. I'd also like to have the original page that I created [Configuration File Details] deleted, but I'm not sure how to do that. As to a quick and dirty edit, well, you have it quite correct there. I discovered (re-discovered?) the link that is on the main page, and rather than learn how to do redirects or disambiguations or whatever, I appended mine to his. I'm in the process of cleaning it all up (70k can take awhile!), but I'm sure that if you've been keeping an eye open, you've already seen some of the massive improvements over what was there before, especially in the Table of Contents!

ImageMap extension ?

Hi xZise,
Can you install the ImageMap extension on the wiki ?
Or, if you can't do it, can you ask somebody who is able to do that ?

Well I certainly won't make any friends with the Squad guys, but hmm you can probably teach your grandchildren to change that ;) I asked for that addition (on Oct 23rd) and I just got an answer that it's just an HTML function, which I'm not quite sure of. It's certainly possible in HTML but afaik you can't do do every HTML code here. If you have more information which I could relay please tell me :)
But for example it's not possible to add anything into the <img>-tag so using image map won't be possible (unless you add the image via HTML itself if that is possible). — xZise [talk] 19:50, 22 December 2014 (CST)
Certainly it's possible to add image mapping using raw HTML, but I think the wiki parameter $wgRawHtml is not set as 'true'. I think it's not possible otherwise, except using the ImageMap extension.

Some Wiki enhancements...

First some kind of "wikiHQ" page where there is place for

  • TODO list (especially after the new release)
  • What wiki needs: for example - colored biome- and altitude maps (with explanation bar or not) with visibility (or "original color") map - all in same map detail (if possible).
  • minor "forum" where the picture manipulators, template wizards, writers and correctors can find each others for a common projects

Second as continuing the national language search topic: my solution (not filled up): contents (in Hungarian but its concept is understandable)

I think it would be useful for English too - as the users can find the sequence therms too (if it is linked) NWM (talk) 09:11, 3 January 2015 (CST)

Is there a large todo list left? There are mostly part pages not completed (see Category:Stub) but apart from that I don't know of any large todo point. There is also Project:Community portal (especially Things to update after new stable release, although that list is not really updated). And the second point looks similar to the first point and I'm not sure exactly what we can do about that. Maybe expand the project page and add a link from the main page?
Regarding the forum, would be in theory possible although I'm not sure about the dimensions of that “area”. Simply a long list of discussion threads, although that might get complicated. But how should we split up discussion threads? And with an actual forum I'm not sure if there is even that much need for it (but maybe you have counter examples?).
Don't see my answer as disagreement, but I'm not exactly sure how that could be done best.
About your contents page: There is currently User:BobBot/indexes/hu although I haven't run the bot in a long time. — xZise [talk] 13:53, 3 January 2015 (CST)
Not really - I'm updating the building pages now - they are a bit obsolete too /there is no words about the new functions - or max: in 0.90... The direction selector is not mentioned in "command module" There is no words about the "navigation system" in whole wiki (Ok, I'll write it, after buildings update, est. 1-2 days - it has been already linked in "experience" as navball sequence). There is lot to do over the stubs and updating the version history, but only the "notorious writers" know where and what is missing - and there is few of them... The novices - maybe - need targets.
Yeah, BobBot still working, but still has its limit... NWM (talk) 08:40, 5 January 2015 (CST)
That sounds good. I'm thinking maybe Project:TODO or so with a list of pages which need to be updated. Although then is always the question why not do it yourself? Maybe because it's to complicated but is it then something for novices? What would work would be a more general list based on the list in Project:Community portal (which could be removed there).
And limit as in? I'm really curious because I don't think it's sensible that a person has to maintain that list. Because then the list will be definitely out of date. — xZise [talk] 17:04, 8 January 2015 (CST)

Infobox nextToIcon

Hi xZise, Your modifications on Infobox template are good, but there's a problem when a subtitle is present (eg 0.90). &#151; Mowaw (talk) - 18:46, 12 January 2015 UTC +1
