Discussion

Yeah; I know that the wiki is more for facts, but the timeline is more to be able to kind of date when the campaign happened to add something that I thought seemed missing. Sorry about the fiction on Bill's page & the poor graphics & everything, but I think you should be able to put some fiction on so long as you don't say it's true and you have some kind of warning like the one you added to the timeline, to share ideas & such. So yeah, I think that you should be able to write fiction so long as there's a warning, what do you think, and how do you start a vote like you told me? Joseph256 (Talk) 18:45, 3 January 2014 (GMT)

Hi, as I don't want to force everybody to do that what I told them to do this can stay for now. If somebody else has a problem with it we should start some kind of vote (although I fear that not many people might vote, I don't know how many (registered) people are visiting this wiki). Now there can be a warning but when somebody links to a section to there (e.g. [[Timeline#1950_-_pre-1960|1950 – pre-1960]]) they won't see the warning. For example on Crew was that some linked directly to the fictive section about Bob Kerman. And the other (objective) problem is that who is “right”? For example you have “Wernher von Kerman“ and “Wernher von-baun Kerman”. Now Wernher von Braun's father was Magnus von Braun and then why the hypen and dropped “r”? So it is partially fictive but partially “based” on reality. But as I said for now leave it there with that warning. Be careful not to link to sections and lets see. A problem might be that there are no links to it, except from your talk page. And adding links randomly to other pages (like on Kerbin that in 1946 was the first photo shot) might be problematic as they are fictive in a otherwise non fiction article. — xZise [talk] 09:06, 5 January 2014 (CST)
Yeah, I see what you're saying with the links within articles, so maybe it should be that you can make fiction with a warning but you can't link to fictitious sections, only fictitious pages; and you can only put links in fictitious pages/sections that lead to fictitious pages, i.e. you can't put a link in KSC to timeline to find when it was built, unless you put it in the 'see also' section with 'fictitious' or 'fiction' in brackets next to the link. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Joseph256 (talkcontribs) 16:10, 3 February 2014‎ (UTC)

The changes I've made

Hey there, I know i made some mistakes when editing those templates but your tips really helped, just so you know, I'm trying to expand the portuguese language for the wiki. --Vini (talk) 12:38, 28 January 2014 (CST)

The french descriptions.

Done. Basically, it means "***'s official artwork".

I've added those pictures so we could create a page about Gene Kerman or Wernher von Kerman. — Preceding unsigned comment added by BFMauviba (talkcontribs) 21:43, 31 January 2014‎ (UTC)

What do you want to say about Gene and Wernher von Kerman? If it is fictional you may want to contribute to Kerbal Space Program Wiki:Discussions/Fiction. — xZise [talk] 15:50, 31 January 2014 (CST)
