The Z-500 Rechargable Battery Bank is a part that stores 500 units of electrical charge for a spacecraft. It stores 5 times as much energy as a Z-100, but has ten times as much mass, making it half as weight-effective. However it can be used as a structural element (unlike the other batteries), and the round shape and attachment nodes make it fit better into some rocket designs. It also makes a decent mid-sized rover base.
