Trostupanjska raketa s raznim tvornički zadanim dijelovima (u 0.18.4)

Dijelovi su osnovni predmeti koji se u Kerbal Space Programu koriste pri izgradnji raketa i raketoplana.

Zajedno čine građevni materijal dostupan igraču tijekom rada u zgradi za sastavljanje raketa (VAB) i hangaru za raketoplane (SPH).

Podijeljeni su u sedam glavnih kategorija:

  1. kapsule
  2. pogon
  3. upravljanje
  4. konstrukcija
  5. aerodinamika
  6. uređaji
  7. znanstveni instrumenti


Zadnja puna inačica igre (0.23) na odabir nudi 170, a zadnja demo-inačica (0.18.3) 25 dijelova.

Dijelovi navedeni u ovom članku ponekad se nazivaju vanilla parts, default parts, ili stock parts sa svrhom razlikovanja od modifikacijskih dodataka trećih stranaka.


Mjerne jedinice

Masa broda navedena je u tonama (t), a potisak motora mjeri se u kilonjutnima (kN).


Omjer potiska i težine

Omjer potiska i težine (thrust-to-weight ratio, TWR) na nultoj nadmorskoj visini na Kerbinu izračunava se slijedećom jednadžbom:

  • potisak motora u kilonjutnima,
  • težina motora na Kerbinovoj nultoj nadmorskoj visini u kilonjutnima,
  • masa motora u tonama,
  • gravitacijsko ubrzanje na Kerbinovoj nultoj nadmorskoj visini: 9.81 m*s-2.

Jednadžba se tiče samo raketa iz razloga što na let raketoplana značajno utječe i uzgon koji je usko vezan za njihov oblik.

Vrijednost izračunata ovom formulom vrijedi samo na nultoj nadmorskoj visini Kerbina jer se na drugim mjestima mijenja težina zbog različitog gravitacijskog ubrzanja.


Specifični impuls

Specifični impuls izračunava se po slijedećoj jednadžbi:

  • specifični impuls u sekundama,
  • potisak motora u kilonjutnima,
  • maseni protok u megagramima (tonama) po sekundi, koji je negativna vrijednost brzine promjene mase letjelice, jer se gorivo izbacuje van. Ukupna (bruto) i masa spremnika (tara) dane su u megagramima
  • ggravitacijsko ubrzanje na Kerbinovoj nultoj nadmorskoj visini: 9.81 m*s-2.

U svrhu smanjenja nedoumice oko mjernih jedinica, specifični impuls se izražava kao brzina ili u vremenskim jedinicama. U Kerbal Space Programu izražen je u sekundama.

Gravitacijsko ubrzanje na nultoj nadmorskoj visini služi pretvaranju brzine u vrijeme, te se zbog toga ne mijenja kada letjelica nije na površini Kerbina. Da bi se specifični impuls izrazilo preko brzine, jednadžba se množi s , što poništava taj faktor.
