The Velociteze on the runway (1.0.5)

The Velociteze is a small multi-engine stock craft, powered by two Juno engines. Its parts are as follows: Swept Wings (x2), AV-R8 Winglet (x3), Elevon 1 (x4), Mk1 Cockpit, Small Circular Intake (x4), Mk1 Liquid Fuel Fuselage (x2), Kelus Mobility Enhancer, Advanced Nose Cone - Type B, LY-10 Small Landing Gear (x3), Mk1 Crew Cabin, J-20 "Juno" Basic Jet Engine (x2), and an Mk0 Liquid Fuel Fuselage.

A characteristic feature of the craft is the displacement of the passenger cabin to the rear of the aircraft. This is done to balance the center of mass of the vehicle and the center of lift.

The plane is relatively easy to operate. The take-off speed is 80 m/s. The aircraft is equipped with flaps, which are controlled through of action group: 9 - release flaps, 0 - remove flaps. The ladder is also controlled via action group using 4.

Craft Description

A small personnel transport using two small basic jets. Nowhere as efficient as turbofans, they nonetheless provide sterling service in this role (and are far less thirsty than an afterburner or turboramjet). The Velociteze is a well-tempered aircraft, fit for trainees versed on the Gull and Aeris 3A who want to step up to a multi-engine aircraft (and do some useful service ferrying passengers besides).

Changes

1.0.5 Added the Velociteze.

Trivia

  • It is visually based off of the Cessna Citation II business jet.
  • In this aircraft, the developers prudently did not fill the tanks in the control cabin with monopropellant by default.
  • The landing gears on the aircraft is rotated 180 degrees, so their lights shine back along the course.
