:To be fair, this is not KSP wiki specific, but this is actually described in the guidelines shown, above your edit box when you editing a page: [[Kerbal Space Program Wiki:Guidelines#Linking to Wikipedia]]. Also this is a ''MediaWiki'', so if someone is wondering how to edit a page, there are already extensive explanations on the English Wikipedia, Wikimedia and MediaWiki pages. Another friend is also the the preview window. It doesn't redirect you but it will redirect to the link which is shown. How to create a working redirect to another wiki in another language
Banged my head for over three hours trying with the (not so great) help within KSP wiki to make one such redirect as in title. Did a lot of tries with help from mediawiki, and in the end found what I needed from Interwiki linking.
To make one such working redirect, in a line ( #REDIRECT [[..]] ) use the following where the points are:
w: points to wikipedia wiki (may choose other wikis as needed)
lg: instructs for a page in the specified language (use the two-letter code for the language)
page is the title of the page, as it appears in the wiki pointed by the redirect

- To be fair, this is not KSP wiki specific, but this is actually described in the guidelines shown, above your edit box when you editing a page: Kerbal Space Program Wiki:Guidelines#Linking to Wikipedia. Also this is a MediaWiki, so if someone is wondering how to edit a page, there are already extensive explanations on the English Wikipedia, Wikimedia and MediaWiki pages. Another friend is also the the preview window. It doesn't redirect you but it will redirect to the link which is shown. If that doesn't work the redirect won't work too.
- And then it is nothing special about redirects. When linking to a page within a wiki use two squared brackets, when using external URLs using a protocol prefix (like http:// or https://) use only one which is not special to this wiki here. — xZise [talk] 05:58, 27 March 2014 (CDT)
