Missile base
The missile is a disposable rocket that can be carried by an aircraft, dropped or launched directly from a launch pad.
The missile generally uses solid thrust, which has the characteristics of large thrust and fast speed, and there are also liquid thrust missiles.
Launch
Ground direct takeoff
There are three launch methods:
- Take off directly with main thrusters
- Take off using Sepratron I, turn mid-air, and then engage the main thrusters
- Thrust launch using multiple cutters
Air launch
- Use a separator/load-bearing pylon to separate the missile
- Use the cargo compartment components, drop the missile, fall some distance and ignite
Maneuver/steering
Missiles usually need high maneuverability in order to accurately hit their targets
- Use momentum wheels
- Use RCS
- Use engine vector thrust
For targeting, you can use the target direction of SAS.
Causing damage
Can be mounted on the side of the missile separator, can deal range damage, like fragmentation grenade.
It is also possible to add wings to the front of the missile, both to increase stability and to increase the striking range
Complete launch process (first stage, separator 1, ground take-off, side splitter)
Splitter one is firing, disengaging from the tube
Splitter one is out of fuel. Splitter jettison
Reach the highest point
SAS targeting
Main engine ignition
Starting fragment
Target destruction
