Problem angle brackets and template

Can't have < and > signs in a link or it won't work: [[API:BaseActionL>ist|BaseActionList]]

Example of this causing things to fail:

Properties

The following are public properties available in Type.

Signature Description
List<Blah> ClassID { get; } This one doesn't.
SomeTypeWithoutAngleBrackets ThisWorks { get; } This one works.

Right now my workaround is to use weird unicode brackets that don't upset the templates. Any solution to this should also work for nested generics like List<List<Things>>. Glyph (talk) 22:27, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
