Don't get me wrong: I don't think you did it just for selfish reasons and maybe you only recently discovered the other article but at least the first edit (by just copying) looked to me “quick and dirty” style. What to say?
Copy
Hi, is [1] a copy of Configuration File Definitions just placed at the end? Isn't there a more reasonable way, because that made the table of contents … like 10 times the size (I haven't counted them yet)? — xZise [talk] 06:08, 17 December 2014 (CST)

- My problem is that I'm not familiar with the stuff you edit so I can't really judge what can be done to improve it. My major concern was that you copied one article completely into another, which is in it self not a problem, but both articles were already long before that and usually two articles get merged because for themselves they are tiny stubs. The original had a size of about 33 kB and your addition added 44 kB (basically 1 kB is about 1 thousands characters) and already before our addition the article wasn't very short.
- I am/was worried that you just copied your article because you didn't recognisition (regarding the “header” you added) and to promote it more you just added but not merged (and combined) them into an already existing article. Don't get me wrong: I don't think you did it just for selfish reasons and maybe you only recently discovered the other article but at least the first edit (by just copying) looked to me “quick and dirty” style. Problem is that this now needs to be finished up. — xZise [talk] 11:08, 18 December 2014 (CST)
