Positioning of the reaction wheels matter?
Hi you added the info on Inline Reaction Wheel that the positioning matter. But I can't see any indication of that in the blog post? — xZise [talk] 09:05, 30 July 2013 (CDT)
- It's something he said in one of the comments about 3/4 of the way down the page, I couldn't figure out how to link to exactly there, though.
- "The placement does matter for reaction wheels. Generally speaking they can cause some problems if placed far from the COM. Imagine you are grabbing that point and rotating it. That is what the reaction wheels will try to do. You'll get offcenter(sic) rotation anywhere other then near the COM."
- Hope I'm replying to you correctly I don't know how the wiki talk stuff really works.Moon Goddess (talk) 11:34, 5 August 2013 (CDT)
- Okay, thank you for that update I found your description. Unfortunately I can't find a way to link this directly, too. Your answer is btw. fine (although I usually also would have noticed if you had answer it on your talk page). — xZise [talk] 13:00, 5 August 2013 (CDT)
- Capt. Skunky told me in the IRC how to directly link it. I updated that article. — xZise [talk] 13:17, 5 August 2013 (CDT)
