A graph showing the specific impulse and thrust values for several of the primary liquid fuel engines.

The left endpoint of each plot indicates the engines' values at 1 atmosphere of barometric pressure, while the right endpoint indicates the engines' values in vacuum.

Interesting things to note on this graph:

  • it is visually apparent that the Mammoth is just a 4-pack of Vectors
  • the most efficient vacuum engines (i.e. Poodle, Nerv) are also the least efficient atmospheric engines
  • Poodle, Swivel and Reliant have very similar performance curves
