Jet Fuel is the fuel stored in MK 1, MK 2, MK3 and there adapters. Squad is planing to create different fuel types which has been started by separating the rocket fuel and jet fuel in the there own respective fuel tanks although still compatible with each others engine types. All jet fuel storage containers contain much less fuel than there counterparts carrying rocket fuel. This is for the realism of the different amounts of fuel stored in aeroplanes to that of spacecraft.
