I've a bot flag request for User:BobBot. I would use the bot to move about 170 files but if possible to help anybody here with tedious jobs. Another think I listed there was to mark images with NoThumbnailsPlease. Another possibility, on which I'm currently working on, is to update some things after an update. I'm also thinking about to automate adding a language. I understand if you hesitate to give someone the bot flag, but afaik I can do more with the admin rights than a bot can do (and for the most things it only needs bot flag). — xZise [talk] 16:07, 28 January 2014 (CST)

Currently, when automatically signing, it uses CST or CDT. This might be convenient for people living in America, but I'm never sure what the exact distance between mine current time zone and CST/CDT is. The English Wikipedia is for example using UTC as a standard. — xZise [talk] 10:12, 6 February 2014 (CST)

Gif thumbnail animations aren't working

Hi aLeXmOrA, as this was already an issue when N3X15 was the main admin the discussion can be found there: User talk:N3X15#Gif thumbnail animations aren't working. — xZise [talk] 16:07, 28 January 2014 (CST)

InstantCommons

And again hi. While I was setting up my local MediaWiki installation to test the bot, I noticed that there is a InstantCommons function. I would suggest activating that as we already have a few files from the commons (Category:Wikimedia files) which shouldn't be necessary then. — xZise [talk] 16:07, 28 January 2014 (CST)

Botflag request

I've a bot flag request for User:BobBot. I would use the bot to move about 170 files but if possible to help anybody here with tedious jobs. Another think I listed there was to mark images with NoThumbnailsPlease. Another possibility, on which I'm currently working on, is to update some things after an update. I'm also thinking about to automate adding a language. I understand if you hesitate to give someone the bot flag, but afaik I can do more with the admin rights than a bot can do (and for the most things it only needs bot flag). — xZise [talk] 16:07, 28 January 2014 (CST)

Using UTC as a time standard

Currently, when automatically signing, it uses CST or CDT. This might be convenient for people living in America, but I'm never sure what the exact distance between mine current time zone and CST/CDT is. The English Wikipedia is for example using UTC as a standard. — xZise [talk] 10:12, 6 February 2014 (CST)
