Transfer burn
I have yet to try this, but it is potentially possible to transfer with less of a burn by a slingshot past the mun. Thoughts? PDTalk 19:53, 21 November 2012 (UTC)

This is incorrect. Landing on Minmus is much easier to land on and also extremely easy to get to. I think this tutorial deserves a re-write about the true ease of getting to Minmus, as it is actually the proper moon newcomers should get to first before Mün. Clarifying Advanced Method of Returning to Kerbin
At 'Returning to Kerbin' under Advanced method it says:
- When the craft is moving retrograde relative to the moon's orbit around Kerbin, face prograde and burn again to escape velocity.
I changed that to
- When the craft is moving retrograde relative to the Mun's orbit around Kerbin, face prograde and burn again to escape velocity.
But then I stopped and thought, wait, is that really what he means? Technically, Minmus is a moon. Was this supposed to say something more like the Back To Kerbin section on the Mun Landing tutorial?
If anything, I think it should be clarified, rather than reverted. For now, I'm changing it to
- When the craft is moving retrograde relative to it's orbit around Kerbin, face prograde and burn again to escape velocity.
