The landing leg is a deployable leg to dumping the vertical impulse of the landing without any damage. Of course at too great landing speed or weigh can damage these parts. They can be repaired by engineers on EVA.

- Start Retracted/Deployed
- Lock/Unlock Suspension (during missions too)
