I have an idea how to make this list easier to edit (the source is already getting kinda long): Everyone puts his table row under something like User:Dgelessus/LangLine. Then those pages can be inserted into the table like this:
{| class="wikitable mw-datatable sortable" ! User ! en ! cs ! da ! de ! es ! fr ! nl ! pl ! pt ! ru ! sw ! tr ! zh-cn ! zh-tw |- {{:User:Dgelessus/LangLine}} |- {{:User:Dgelessus/LangLine}} |- {{:User:Dgelessus/LangLine}} |- {{:User:Dgelessus/LangLine}} |}
That would make this list much easier to edit. --dgelessus (talk, contribs) 16:48, 30 May 2013 (CDT)
- I edited the table. Now every user has only two lines. So we could save those templates. — xZise [talk] 17:47, 30 May 2013 (CDT)
- I encountered another problem with your template solution: When there will be new languages, all templates have to be updated separately. — xZise [talk] 03:20, 31 May 2013 (CDT)
- Okay in the end I ended up using templates, but not in the way you suggested. Instead it works the other way around: The users are using one template. By this it is easy to add languages later and a user can (theoretically) add all his/her language skills. — xZise [talk] 03:31, 6 June 2013 (CDT)
