A celestial body is any natural body in space like stars, planets, dwarf planets and moons. The orbital maneuvers are identical for any celestial body, as only the gravitational pull generated by the body is important for those. There is no difference in landing on a planet or moon, also the transfers between the celestial bodies is similar: The transfer between planets is the same as the transfer between moons. In theory also the transfer between stars should be similar to transfer between planets or moons but only on a much bigger scale.
Currently the Kerbol System is the only place where celestial bodies can be visited. 0.21.1[outdated]
