Introduction:
With a manned landing having been done on Duna, the Kerbols now aim with a hefty goal, to create rovers for each moon in the Joolian system.
Specs:
- Length: 10-20 Hours
- Difficulty: 8/10 (Expert)
- Skills Needed:
- Advanced Rocket Design
- Advanced Landing
- Advanced Orbital Maneuvering
- Intermediate Mission Planning
- Advanced understanding of Launch Windows
- Intermediate Rendezvousing
- Advanced Rover Design
- Basic Docking (optional)
- Completed (Minimal)
- For Version: Every Version
Missions
Joolino III
- Launch a Satellite to Orbit around Jool
- Satellite must have at least 2 solar panels
- Satellite must have a dish antennea
- Satellite must have at least 4 scientific instruments
- Satellite must have a 1,000,000 meter orbit around the body
Joolino IV
- Launch a Satellite to Orbit around Laythe
- Same Requirements as Joolino III and must contain a drop of scientific instruments
- Drop must make it to Laythe's surface unharmed
- Drop must contain a control unit
- Drop must contain at least 3 scientific instruments
Joolino V, VI, VII and VIII
- Launch Satalites around the remaining moons of Jool
- Same requirements as Joolino III EXCEPT
- Drops must be sent to the surface of Vall, and Tylo which contain at least 4 scientific instruments
Joolinia X
- Launch a Rover for landing on Laythe
- Must have enough electric storage to run overnight
- Must have lights
- Must contain at least 4 Scientific Instruments
- Must have a dish antenna
- Must land on an island
Joolinia XI, XVI, XX, XXI
- Launch Rovers for the rest of Jool's moons
- Same requirements as Joolinia X EXCEPT
- Vall lander must land on one of the poles
- Tylo lander must land in one of the major craters
- Try not to get mad at me for these repetitive challenges
