A landing leg is a deployable strut for stopping a craft on the surface of a celestial body with minimal damage and destruction of craft. Landing very heavy craft or landing too fast can partially damage or completely destroy these parts. Partially damaged legs can be repaired by three-star engineers on EVA.
Landing legs have these tweakables:
- Start Retracted/Deployed
- Lock/Unlock Suspension (during missions too)
- Spring and damper sliders
