Ladders (officially called Mobility Enhancers) are parts that Kerbals can use to climb up, down, or around their ship. They are mostly used for getting into your ship if you are on the ground, or to avoid drifting away from the ship when on EVA.
At the moment, three ladders are available. Two of them have to be extended before they can be used, while the other is stationary and can be used at any time.
