The Inland Kerbal Space Center (sometimes called KSC 2[1]) is a second spaceport on Kerbin, located north-west of the main space center (approx bearing 300°, distance 760 km). It is generally considered an easter egg. It is not possible to build and launch rockets from this space center. As it doesn't have a runway it isn't possible to launch space planes there either, although the land is flat enough to land on.

It is located in a flat valley at the south-east end of a large mountain range, within a depression shaped like "H" or "K". The best way to reach the Inland Space Center is to fly there by plane.

There is currently[outdated] a bug in the game, as it treats craft on the launch pad as they are on the launch pad at the main space center. So when trying to launch a craft it will request to recover the craft on the launch pad at this space port.

As of 0.21.1[outdated], the Inland Kerbal Space Center uses the old VAB, Launchpad and Tracking Station models/textures previously used for the main KSC in versions 0.20 and earlier. So it is still possible to visit the old buildings in the new version. Also there is a monolift near the tracking station.
