Hi, well I wonder if we could do a translator between traditional and simplified Chinese, like Wikipedia itself? Cause adding all the content in traditional Chinese when a simplified Chinese page would take very long (cause I plug it into Google translate (I won't have the time to translate word by word from simplified to traditional) and it messes with the wikitext so it results in the wikitext not able to parse as normal)-[[User:Deepspacecreeper|Deepspacecreeper]] ([[User talk:Deepspacecreeper|talk]]) 23:51, 18 November 2014 (CST)

== Mk2 Fuselage Short page mixed up ==

The "box" part of the Mk2 Fuselage Short page shows stats of the LF+O tank. I am sorry that when I copied the text over from the Mk2 LF+O short page to the jet fuel fuselage short page, I forgot to change the body text. Could you please create a new box for the Mk2 Fuselage small stats? (cause I don't know how to do it)<small>—[[User:Deepspacecreeper|Deepspacecreeper]] ([[User talk:Deepspacecreeper|talk]] • [[Special:Contributions/Deepspacecreeper|contribs]]) 6:12 October 29, 2014 (PDT)</small>

:Hi Deepspacecreeper. That is not a problem but just a some information so you might be able to solve that yourself in the future. First of all [http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/w/index.php?title=Mk2_Liquid_Fuel_Fuselage_Short&diff=prev&oldid=52050 I messed] it up and have chosen the wrong template.

:But that is beside the point. So! Most infoboxes are in ''Page title''/Box so [[Mk2 Liquid Fuel Fuselage Short/Box]] in this case. Now on the left you see a few links and there is also “Data templates” if you expand that you see always an ''Infobox'' entry if there is already an infobox created.

:The infobox actually is manually included by adding <nowiki>{{:</nowiki>''Page title''/Box<nowiki>}}</nowiki> at the very beginning (if there are other boxes like {{Tl|Stub}} you can also add it below those but there is no real rule how it has to be done). So to fix it someone ([http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/w/index.php?title=Mk2_Liquid_Fuel_Fuselage_Short&diff=52066&oldid=52062 in this case me]) just needs to fix the link. — [[User:XZise|xZise]] <small>&#91;[[User talk:XZise|talk]]&#93;</small> 21:00, 29 October 2014 (CDT)

::Hi again, just 1 more problem to address, the picture is also mixed up for the mk2 small Lf&O and jet fuel tanks. the one for the Lf&O has a grey streak and the jet fuel tank doesn't have one.

::Also I don't know how to add the page for the new stock craft [[Learstar A1]] and [[Stearwing D45]] into Category: Stock craft. I created pages for the new stock craft and need help updating the [[stock craft]] page too. <small>—[[User:Deepspacecreeper|Deepspacecreeper]] 06:45 October 28 (PDT)</small>

:::If you find any pages (including images) with the wrong names use {{Tl|move}} to also mark the target page. As I currently haven't much time I'll move them later when I know what I need to do. About your other problem: I'm not sure what you are trying to do. If you want to add a page to a category (e.g. [[:Category:Stock craft]]) just add <nowiki>[[Category:Stock craft]]|</nowiki>. The colons (which you only will see when you edit the page) in the link before (in the parenthesis), in front of ''Category'' are there to prevent that this page is added to the category. If you add that link (usually at the end of a page) it'll automatically add the page to the category. And it appears you have been able to add the craft to [[stock craft]]. Or did you mean {{Tl|stock craft}}? — [[User:XZise|xZise]] <small>&#91;[[User talk:XZise|talk]]&#93;</small> 14:47, 30 October 2014 (CDT)

::::That was what I meant. Thanks for the advice! <small>[[User:Deepspacecreeper|Deepspacecreeper]] 19:42, 30 October 2014 (PDT)</small>

== Template KSC ==

Hi xZise,<br/>

Can I add a new template named "KSC" ?<br/>

You can see an example on the [http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.fr/index.php/Mod%C3%A8le:KSC KSP-fr wiki].

Regards,<br/>

:Hmm, I think there is a way to link parts of an image, so we could use a complete map and when a user is roughly clicking where the VAB is it'll open it. But I can't find the documentation for that. — [[User:XZise|xZise]] <small>&#91;[[User talk:XZise|talk]]&#93;</small> 21:00, 22 October 2014 (CDT)

::Good idea ! I think we can superimpose <nowiki><div></nowiki> like that:

::<div style="z-index:1; position:relative; width:250px; height:120px; border:solid 1px black; background-color:lightgray;">

</div>

<div style="z-index:0; position:relative; top:-50px; left:100px; width:250px; height:120px; border:solid 1px black; background-color:lightsteelblue;">

</div>

::We can make them invisible, add a link on click, and add KSC picture in background...

::EDIT: It's possible with the extension ImageMap. Is it present on the wiki ? I made a new system for [http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.fr/index.php/Mod%C3%A8le:KSC KSP-fr wiki's KSC template]

:::Exactly that! Unfortunately [[Special:Version|this]] wiki hasn't installed this (yet?). I'll ask if it could be installed but this might take some time. — [[User:XZise|xZise]] <small>&#91;[[User talk:XZise|talk]]&#93;</small> 17:46, 23 October 2014 (CDT)

planed features changes

both the massive parts and the astaroids are confermed by harvisteR in that streem, he says that astaroids will be in the main game, but other things that include the nasa pack will be separate, i will post a better link to the stream in a second. i actually took the geysers from a post on gas planet 2. also look at today's dev note it confirms everything — Preceding unsigned comment added by Krona (talkcontribs) 03:15, 19 February 2014‎ (UTC)

Response

Still learning wikitext. I hope this is an appropriate way to respond to your comments.

I just discovered another way to do it that involves anchors and tables, and, once implemented, should clean up the table of contents by a huge amount. Thanks for the push-back against the huge list, as I was just going to leave it as is, but your comments have motivated me to learn a little more about wikitext in order to clean it up (which I really wanted to do from the get-go, I just didn't know how). Look forward to seeing changes slowly and steadily whittle that TOC down!

Page combinations

As you can see, I am in the process of cleaning it up. I'd also like to have the original page that I created [Configuration File Details] deleted, but I'm not sure how to do that. As to a quick and dirty edit, well, you have it quite correct there. I discovered (re-discovered?) the link that is on the main page, and rather than learn how to do redirects or disambiguations or whatever, I appended mine to his. I'm in the process of cleaning it all up (70k can take awhile!), but I'm sure that if you've been keeping an eye open, you've already seen some of the massive improvements over what was there before, especially in the Table of Contents!
